The maximum potential of non-oil canola can only be realized through fractionation and targeted processing and this is the opportunity MCN seeks to exploit. Through proprietary, patent-pending processing, MCN fractionates the canola meal into separate bioproduct streams which are optimally tailored to end user markets and, in so doing, resolves canola meal’s sub-optimal combination of elements.

MCN’s process utilizes aqueous extraction techniques, enzyme treatment and standard filtration equipment to separate canola meal into the following product streams:
